There is a part in Catcher in the Rye, where Holden is describing his
recurring dream/fantasy. He is in a rye field and there are a bunch
of children playing nearby. But there are no adults around. He looks
and sees that not too far away, there is a cliff, and he becomes
concerned that the children might not see it, and that they could fall
off if no one was there to catch them. His ongoing wish is to save
them, to be the catcher in the rye.
I'm wondering if anyone has ever depicted this image in a
painting/drawing, and if so, I'm looking for it online, as an image
that I could download and send to somebody.
